About the Centre

Housed in the stunning Thrid Ave United Church, TACCE is a non-profit organization that builds relationships and partnerships with cultural groups in the city.

In the last few years the walls of Third Ave have heard the sounds of performances like the Saskatoon Symphony, the Amati Strings, Saskatoon Opera, Saskatoon Children's Choir, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, the Nylons, Anton Kuerti, Edith Wiens, Prairie Virtuosi, and Jan Lisiecki - not to mention the countless local performers who've enjoyed the acoustics of the sanctuary.
Third Ave is a home to Saskatoon's rich cultural history.  The Saskatchewan Wheat Pool was founded in a meeting in the upper hall of Third Ave.  Tommy Douglas spoke here.  Convocations of the U of S used to take place here!  And recently, we've discovered that the legendary pianist Arthur Rubinstein performed on our stage in 1952.

Third Ave Centre is a treasured landmark in Saskatoon, and is now looking ahead to the next 100 years. Third Ave has always been a meeting place for Saskatoon's cultural community, and the Centre for Community Enrichment is dedicated to strengthening cultural connections in Saskatoon with inpsiring and creative opportunities and events.
